Laser cutting
Time: 13.00 - 14.45h
Location: (Stadslab Wijnhaven 99)
Do you want to learn how to use a laser cutter to cut wood or plastic? For example, consider a nameplate with your own engraving or 3D objects such as a box or holder for your phone. You will learn how to prototype this with the laser cutter during this workshop! You will create a file in Adobe Illustrator or Inkscape and then engrave it or cut it out with the machine. Take your laptop with you and install Adobe Illustrator or Inkscape.
Printing T-shirts
Time: 13.00 - 14.45h
Location: Stadslab Wijnhaven 99
During this workshop, you'll learn how to cut a sticker using the vinyl cutter and press it onto fabric with the textile press. Bring a t-shirt or (linen) bag to print on, and your laptop with Adobe Illustrator or Inkscape installed. Also, think about the image or logo you’d like to create!
Programming with the Microbit
Time: 15.00 - 16.45h

The Microbit is a small microcontroller with which you can easily program an interaction. You can make all kinds of prototypes, such as an alarm or a traffic light, but creating a chatbot with the microbit is even possible. During this workshop you will work on controlling various outputs, such as light and sound, using simple code language. Bring your laptop with a USB A connection (if you only have USB C, bring a connector!)
3D printing

Have you always wanted to use a 3D printer? For example, think about printing your name or logo on a key ring or a small miniature. During this workshop in the Stadslab, you will learn how to print a self-designed model with a 3D printer. You design or edit a 3D model in the Tinkercad software and then print it yourself in a small format. Bring your laptop!
