“We are happy to reopen the Kralingse Zoom location for our teaching and research. We would like to thank all students and staff for their understanding,” said Sarah Wilton-Wels, Chair of the Executive Board.
The Kralingse Zoom location of the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences had been closed earlier at the urgent request of three parties (the municipality of Rotterdam, the police, and the Public Prosecution Service). Sarah Wilton-Wels: “We continue to stress that the most important thing is to start and keep a dialogue with each other. Opinions can cause friction, but it is important to continue to listen to each other and maintain a respectful dialogue.”
The access control for entering the buildings that has been in place at some other sites of the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences will continue and will apply to all sites on Friday. Students and staff will be able to enter the buildings on presentation of their student or staff card.
