Babak received his Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering (Software) in 1995, and his Master’s in Computer Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Robotics) in 2002. He Received his PhD in Computer Sciences in 2013, with a research in Malware Detection and Classification using Hidden Markov Models, funded and supported by two research grants.
Since 2002, Babak started teaching in university, in the field of computing and information technology, including Research Methodology in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Soft Computing, Neural Networks, Data Mining, Computer Security (Malware Analysis), Web Application Security, Data Structure and Algorithms, Basic and Advanced Programming, Assembly Language, Robot Programming, Fundamentals of Operating Systems, and Computer Architecture.
